We adopted our puppy from Long Trails to Happy Tails in February.

We didn’t think we were ready for a dog so soon but when we met her she was a perfect fit! She gets us outside and active so much now. We believe that dogs choose their owners and we are so glad she chose us.

The adoption process made us feel safe that we were getting her from great and trustworthy people. Her foster mom took the time to meet up with us and let us get to know her before the adoption.

We are so glad to be Kemba ‘s forever home and we can’t wait to get her a sibling!

Meet Huck.

He is the newest member of our family, thanks to Long Tails Happy Trails!!

If you are looking to adopt, this is the organization to team up with. They were so easy to work with, very efficient and really cared about the puppy and us.

They went above and beyond to make sure we were a good fit and we couldn’t be happier. We have had Huck for going on 3 weeks and we love him more and more every day. He was very healthy and clean when we got him and he already had shots and deworming.

These adorable babies were the second litter to be born within a two-month period of time to the same owner.

He was not prepared nor did he want the first litter let alone the second. All of these puppies were living outside, kept in unsanitary conditions and in need of help. Long Trails to Happy Tails acted quickly to be able to save both litters and get their mother’s spayed.

Buffalo Cares another amazing rescue zoomed in and helped us with the first litter. The second litter is almost 6 weeks old, they were born on February 2, 2017 – there are 5 boys and 2 girls.

Each one of these babies is looking to win the race and be your 1st place!

I heard about Long Trails to Happy Tails through a friend that works with me.

I had been searching for a puppy for quite some time and looking at many different rescues. Long trails to happy tails was by far the best rescue I was in contact with. They were very fast about answering me back and the adoption process was so smooth!

My new puppy was too young to leave her foster right away so I was supposed to wait another week until I could get her, but her foster suggested that I apply for foster to adopt. Once I was approved to foster it allowed me to get my baby right away. I am so appreciative of all the volunteers and the amazing heart that they have for these animals. I will from now always refer people to long trails to happy tails. Without them I would not have such an awesome, sweet, loving puppy companion!

I look forward to staying involved with this rescue and attending many of their events!

This sweet boy was left on the side of the road, in a box! Even though he had a rough start to life, he has started to blossom in his Foster home.

His Foster mom says he is a cuddle bug! Bambi is great with cats, other dogs & kids.
